Here are our policies on registering for classes, camps and workshops, as well as cancellations, parking, pickup, drop-off and more.

Registering for Classes, Workshops or Camps
A student or parent must fill out our registration form (click “more info” next to class/camp/workshop description) and pay the full class fee. We use Sawyer Tools for our registration system, which is set up so that you don’t have to re-enter your information when you register again. Cancellation and Transferring Policy: Classes
Please read our cancellation policy before registering. Included in the tuition is a $25 registration fee. If you want to transfer to another class after your initial registration, there is an additional non-refundable $25 transfer fee.
If a cancellation of class registration occurs:
- At least 10 days before the start date: all but the $25 registration fee will be refunded.
- 9 days or less before the start date: half the tuition will be refunded.
- After the start date: no refund is given.
Cancellation Policy: Camps
Please read our cancellation policy before registering. Included in the tuition is a non-refundable 10% registration fee. If a cancellation occurs:
- Before April 1: a full refund, minus 10% fee
- Before May 1: a 50% refund
- After May 1: no refund is given.
Cancellation Policy: Workshops Taught by Local Artists
Please read our cancellation policy before registering. Included in the tuition is a non-refundable $25 registration fee. If a cancellation occurs:
- At least 5 days before the start date: all but the $25 registration fee will be refunded.
- 2-4 days before the start date: one-half of the tuition is refunded.
- Less than 24 hours before the start date: no refund is given if the spot cannot be filled. If you cannot attend, you may find another person to take your place in the workshop. Please let us know their name before the workshop begins.
Cancellation Policy: Visiting Artists Workshops
Please read our cancellation policy before registering. Included in the tuition is a non-refundable $25 registration fee. If a cancellation occurs:
- At least 31 days before the start date: all but the $25 registration fee will be refunded.
- 30 days or less before the start of the workshop: no refund is given if the spot cannot be filled. If you cannot attend, you may find another person to take your place in the workshop. Please let us know their name before the workshop begins.
Paying by Check
Yes, you can pay by check. If you register online, our system requires payment with a credit card or Paypal. However, if you would prefer to pay by check (and we welcome that), Art House 7 will register you for the class. Please contact us at art@arthouseseven.com or call us at 703-269-0946 and we will sign you up for the class. We will need to receive your check within a week to reserve your spot.
Inclement Weather Policy
When a class, camp or workshop falls on a day when Arlington County Public Schools are typically open, Art House 7 follows APS’s policy on closures due to inclement weather. If Arlington Public Schools are closed all day, then all AH7 classes are cancelled. If APS has a 2-hour delay, AH7’s morning classes starting before 11am are cancelled.
When APS is closed and AH7 is open: we will email our students if we decide to close during bad weather. Please call us at 703-269-0946, email us at art@arthouseseven.com or text if you have questions about cancellations. All classes cancelled because of weather will be made up at the end of the session but no refunds will be given if you miss the makeup class.
Missed Classes, Camps or Workshops
We do not give refunds or make-up classes for missed classes, camps or workshops. For classes or camps, teachers will do their best to get the student caught up in the next session.
Parking
Yes, we have free parking just outside our door!
Early Drop-off and Late Pickup
Dropping off your child early is not an option because teachers are busy setting up for the class beforehand. Please pick up your child promptly at the end of class — teachers often need to set up immediately for the next class or leave the studio for another job or appointment.
