Who can use Open Studios?

What if I just finished a class and need to finish something?
You have 3 weeks to finish your work. You cannot make new work in the open studio after the session has ended.

What happens to my work if I do not come back within 3 weeks of the end of the session to finish it?
Sadly, it gets thrown away.

If I am enrolled in a class and make new work in the open studio, will it be fired when my other pieces are fired?
Not necessarily, you may have to pay to come to an open studio after the session ends to finish the extra work.

How long are the Open Studio sessions?
Open studios are offered in 2 and 3 hour blocks.

Why use them?
To gain extra practice and finish work.

Is there an instructor during open studio?
No, but a studio monitor is present.

What is the responsibility of the open studio student?
Students are responsible for their own set-up, clean-up, and storage/labeling of work.

Do I get a free pass if I miss one class?
Students receive one free pass for one absence.

Do I get a free pass if I miss a second class?
No. Students are only allowed one make-up pass.

What is Art House 7 policy for student absences?
Art House 7 does not give refunds, make-ups or credits for missed classes.

What if I sign up for an open studio and don’t attend?
You do not get any refund, transfer or credit.

What if I sign up for an open studio and want to transfer to a different date?
There is a $15 transfer fee.
