Answers to Your AH7 FAQ’s

How do I register for a class?
To reserve a space in a class, a student or parent must fill out our registration form and pay the full class fee. To reserve a private party, there is a $50 deposit fee. You can see our calendar here, which shows all our classes, with a link to the registration page for each class.

Is Art House 7 just for kids?
No, we have classes for both kids and adults. Please check out our schedule under “Fall Art Classes” on the main menu above.

What can you tell me about your teachers?
Most of our teachers are not only artists but have been or are currently teachers in a private or public school.

How long do your classes run?
Classes typically meet on a weekly bases, from six to eight weeks, and last from 45 minutes to 2 hours. We also have workshops, which can be one day or more.

Where are you located?
We are at 5537 Lee Highway, Arlington, Va., 22207. We’re near the Lee Harrison shopping center, and right next to Joe’s Place Pizza and Pasta. You can find a map here.

Is there parking nearby?
Yes! We have free parking just outside our door.

What happens if a student joins a class after the first session has begun?
Art House 7 will pro-rate the cost of the class.

What happens if a student misses a class?
No refund will be given.

What happens if a student decides he or she doesn’t want to continue a class?
If a student wants to drop a class: After the first class, a refund for the remainder of classes will be given.
After the second class, a 50 percent refund will be given.
After the third class, no refund or credit is given for the class.

What happens if you need to cancel your registration before class starts?
You get a full refund if you cancel one week prior to start of class. Less than one week, all but $30 is returned to you.

What is your snow policy?
Art House 7 follows Arlington County Public School snow cancellations. All classes cancelled because of snow will be made up at the end of the session. No refunds will be given for snow days.

Can I drop my child off early for a class?
No, because teachers are busy setting up for the class. Sometimes you can wait with your child in the first floor studio if it is vacant.

What if I am late picking up my child?
Please call the teacher and let them know you are running late. If you are over 10 minutes late, you will be charged $20.
