Teacher Conferences and Veterans Day Are Coming Up!
Your kids can take a cool workshop while you take a few hours to yourself

Arlington Co. elementary-school kids will be out of school for several days very soon: Thursday, Oct 26, Friday, Oct. 27, and Tuesday, Nov. 7., for teacher conferences / work days, followed by Veterans Day on Friday, Nov. 10. We have four great workshops for your kids on those days:

  • Thu., Oct. 26: Shadow Boxes, 10 am – 12 pm, 8-11 years
  • Fri., Oct. 27: Polymer Clay Jewelry, 10 am – 1 pm, 8-11 years,
  • Tue., Nov. 7: Painting: Monet’s Masterpiece, 10am – 12:30pm, 5-7 years
  • Fri., Nov. 10 (Veterans Day): Needle Felting, 10am – 12:30pm, 9-12 years

    We’ve got a terrific lineup for fall classes! Check out our fall calendar  for kids and adults. For many classes, we have early-bird rates that you don’t want to miss — they are expire very soon, so hurry to register (see class registration page for expiration date).

    See our fall classes, with descriptions and registration links, for:

    • preschoolers, including Art Fun and Art Together.
    • elementary-schoolers, including ceramics, painting and drawing, and parent and child art.
    • middle-schoolers, including 2-D Art and 3-D Art.
    • adults, who don’t want to miss the fun either. We have oil painting, water color and open-studio days.
    Art is fun! Here is a snippet of our Art Together class with teacher, Amy West, dressed as Claude Monet. Art Together (starts Tue., Oct. 10) and Art Fun, both for preschoolers, are among our new classes.

    Bring your party to AH7: Have a birthday party or Girl Scout event coming up? We’ll see that your kids have a great time while creating some wonderful art to take home. We have many themes to choose from. See our birthday party page here, and our Girl Scout badges page here.

    Art House 7 offers art classes, camps and workshops for children and adults at our two-level studio on Lee Highway in Arlington. All of our teachers are artists and experienced art instructors.
